it’s all about
Lifestyle Exercise Attitude Nutrition*
As I grew into adulthood, I pursued my career, but my interest in how adults could live healthy, active lives continued to grow as I saw chronic illness and other health problems stealing their joy. My heart went out to those people, and I wondered how I could help them improve their health and live that active life they wanted so much.
Years later, I met a certified health coach. It was during this coaching relationship that I began to fully understand the importance of the QUALITY of food that we use to fuel the body. So much of our food is fake and processed, full of chemicals, preservatives, and artificial colors! It’s no wonder that our bodies are rebelling and so many are suffering with chronic illness, obesity, and diabetes. Our bodies were designed to eat whole, real food, not laboratory creations! I realized that I had been misinformed, too, and began looking at the food I ate in an entirely different way. I enjoyed the process so much and because I had an increasing desire to share what I learned; my coach encouraged me to put my passion into practice by becoming a certified health coach. I did just that in 2020 through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.
The decision I made many years ago as a teenager to do my best to avoid heart disease has impacted my life more than I could have ever imagined. There have been times in my life when I let things slide, so I’m not perfect by any means. I have come to love this lifestyle because I want to be healthy for my family, to be ready and able to fully serve my Creator and Lord, and to enjoy a full, active, life, free from illness and chronic pain.
I believe that we all want to live happy, healthy, and long lives and understand how lifestyle, exercise, attitude, and nutrition affect every aspect of our health. As a certified health coach with personal experience and education, I have a heartfelt desire to help motivate, educate, and empower groups and individuals to add life to their years and live them to the fullest. This is why I started Step Forward Health Coaching, LLC. I believe I can help you. Take that “step forward” and contact me to find out how.
